Clarion Gaming has announced that nominations for the prestigious 2025 ICE Landmark Awards are now open. These awards, which will be presented during the ICE Barcelona event on January 20-22, 2025, aim to recognize outstanding organizations and individuals who have made a significant impact within the gaming industry.
A Recognition of Excellence and Innovation
The ICE Landmark Awards, first introduced in 2019, are designed to honor those who have contributed to the betterment of the industry through innovation, leadership, and commitment to positive change. Previous awardees have included game creators, pioneers, prominent personalities, and investors who have reshaped the gaming landscape.
The awards highlight key achievements in various sectors, including industry charity fundraising, sustainability, long-term service, and the promotion of safer or more sustainable gambling practices. These accolades aim to spotlight those who drive meaningful change and push the industry forward in a responsible and impactful way.
ICE Barcelona: The Global Gathering
The ICE Landmark Awards are part of the larger ICE and iGB Affiliate events, one of the world’s most significant gatherings in the gaming sector, with an expected 55,000 visitors at the Fira Gran Via in Barcelona. This renowned event, often referred to as the “Davos of Gambling,” serves as a platform for industry leaders to network, explore new opportunities, and honor those who have made remarkable contributions to the sector.
Clarion Gaming’s Managing Director, Stuart Hunter, commented on the purpose of the awards: “Since their introduction, Landmark Awards have been made in recognition of industry charity fund-raising, sustainability efforts, long-service contributions, and advancements in safer gambling.” He noted that the awards program was created in response to the growing demand for an original recognition initiative that would highlight the achievements of those making a meaningful impact in the gaming industry.
