Leading Airlines
- Southwest Airlines: Southwest Airlines led the way once again, serving 1.92 million passengers in May—a 9.3% increase over the same month in 2023. Year-to-date, Southwest maintains an 11.8% lead.
- Other Carriers: Other major carriers also contributed to the airport’s success. Delta saw a 13.4% increase, American rose by 12.3%, and United handled 4.1% more passengers than in May 2023.
International Routes
- Canadian Influence: Among international airlines, Canadian carrier WestJet led the pack with 93,535 passengers. Mexican carrier Volaris followed closely with 59,002 passengers, and Air Canada ranked third with 58,072.
- British Airways: British Airways also made its mark, serving 32,282 passengers on its transatlantic routes.
