Golden Entertainment, the owner and operator of Arizona Charlie’s Decatur and Boulder in Las Vegas, has announced the appointment of Lisa Rose as the new director of marketing for both properties. Rose will oversee all aspects of marketing, including advertising, promotions, player development, and entertainment.

A seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience

Rose brings with her a wealth of experience in the gaming industry, having worked for several major casino operators in Las Vegas and other markets. She started her career as a marketing coordinator at Station Casinos in 2000, and later held various positions at MGM Resorts International, Boyd Gaming, and Penn National Gaming.

Most recently, she served as the director of marketing at Tropicana Las Vegas, where she was responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing plans, managing a $25 million budget, and leading a team of 65 employees. She also played a key role in the transition of the property from Penn National Gaming to Bally’s Corporation in 2021.

Arizona Charlie’s Decatur and Boulder are two of the 10 casino resorts owned and operated by Golden Entertainment in Nevada and Maryland. The properties cater to the local market, offering a variety of gaming, dining, and entertainment options, as well as a hotel and RV park.

According to Golden Entertainment, Arizona Charlie’s has a loyal customer base, with over 70% of its revenue coming from repeat guests. The properties also feature the popular True Rewards loyalty program, which allows members to earn and redeem points at over 140 locations across Nevada, Maryland, and Montana.

The company also announced that it had completed the sale of its Nevada slot route operations to Oaktree Capital Management for $215 million in January 2022.
