The Caruthersville property is Century Casinos’ newest addition in Missouri, joining the Century Casino Cape Girardeau, which opened earlier this year along with the nearby Riverview Hotel. With this new establishment, Century Casinos has solidified its position in Missouri’s gaming and entertainment market, further diversifying its offerings to attract a broad clientele from surrounding states.
The newly constructed venue in Caruthersville has been incorporated into Century’s “triple net master lease agreement” with VICI Properties, a key partner in the development. This leasing structure provides Century Casinos with operational flexibility and resources for future growth, enhancing the long-term sustainability of its Missouri projects.
Caruthersville’s New Entertainment Hub
Co-Chief Executive Officers Erwin Haitzmann and Peter Hoetzinger expressed enthusiasm for the Caruthersville opening, emphasizing the strategic transformation that converted the last riverboat on the Mississippi River into a full-fledged hotel and casino resort. Century Casino & Hotel Caruthersville now boasts a 26,000-square-foot gaming floor, making it 50% larger than the previous temporary facility. The casino features:

- Nine live table games
- A bar and restaurant
The property also includes 74 luxury hotel rooms and an RV park, providing options for extended stays and catering to a variety of guests.
