The Swedish online gaming operator Betsson has announced a new partnership with the Colombian football club Atletico Nacional, becoming its global main sponsor for the next three years.
Betsson expands its presence in Latin America
Betsson is one of the leading online gaming companies in Europe, with a portfolio of over 20 brands and a presence in more than 15 regulated markets. The company has been expanding its operations in Latin America, where it sees a huge potential for growth and innovation.
In 2020, Betsson acquired a 70% stake in Colbet, a Colombian online gaming operator, and launched its flagship brand Betsson.com.co in the country. The company also entered the Brazilian market through a strategic partnership with IBCBET, and obtained a license to operate in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The partnership with Atletico Nacional is part of Betsson’s strategy to increase its brand awareness and customer base in the region, as well as to support the development of local sports and communities.

Atletico Nacional is one of the most successful and popular football clubs in Colombia and South America. The club has won 16 national titles, four Copa Colombia, two Copa Libertadores, two Recopa Sudamericana, and one Intercontinental Cup.
The club has a loyal fan base of over 14 million people, and a strong social media presence, with more than 6 million followers on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
The club expressed its satisfaction with the new partnership with Betsson, which will provide financial support and innovative solutions to enhance the fan experience and engagement.
