Vibra Group, a prominent content and platform developer in Latin America, has announced its acquisition of TSA, a Brazil-based technology company and long-time development partner. This move marks a strategic step in Vibra’s plan to strengthen its footprint in the Brazilian market.
The acquisition brings 55 platform development experts from TSA’s operations in Northern Brazil into Vibra Group’s fold, enhancing the company’s resources and capabilities in a region pivotal to its LatAm growth ambitions.
Strengthening a Long-Standing Partnership
TSA and Vibra Group have shared a strong working relationship for years. Operating under the ServiceNet brand, TSA is already contracted with several Brazilian lotteries, including Loteria do Tocantins, Loteria do Maranhão, Loteria de Sergipe, and Loteria da Paraíba. This integration will not only strengthen Vibra’s existing platform development efforts but also streamline its collaboration with TSA’s extensive local expertise.
Vibra’s CEO, Ramiro Atucha, emphasized the alignment of the two companies, stating, “Joining forces makes perfect strategic sense. Our expansion and this M&A deal reflect the growing demand we’ve seen across the LatAm region. TSA’s team will undoubtedly accelerate our mission.”
Expanding Capabilities Across LatAm
The integration of TSA brings specialized skills into Vibra’s business units, particularly Vibra Solutions, which oversees the development of game studios, Remote Gaming Servers (RGS), and Electronic Gaming Machines (EGM). Meanwhile, TSA’s Brazil-based team will focus on Player Account Management (PAM) and sportsbook solutions—key components of Vibra’s broader product strategy.
Vibra’s offerings revolve around three core areas:
- Customisable sportsbook and casino platforms
- Content aggregation platforms with proprietary and third-party games
- EGM platforms for distributing products via VLT and retail terminals
These pillars are managed under Vibra Group’s divisions: Vibra Gaming, Vibra Solutions, and Vibra VLT/Retail.
The addition of TSA’s expertise not only reinforces Vibra’s product development roadmap but also aids in consolidating its operational structure across the LatAm region.
Meeting Market Demand and Accelerating Growth
This acquisition is Vibra Group’s first major M&A deal, which comes after a period of significant growth fueled by increasing customer demand across Latin America. Over the last 12 to 18 months, Vibra has seen rapid progress in its offerings, making this partnership a timely and strategic investment.
Ramiro Atucha highlighted the importance of timing, saying, “The timing is ideal. We’re excited to continue our growth journey with TSA’s talented team joining us.”
For TSA, this acquisition also signifies a step towards a larger platform. CEO Werter Luna expressed enthusiasm about the merger: “Having worked together for so long, the synergies between us were clear. Both companies know we are stronger together, and we are ready to pursue our ambitious plans for significant growth.”
Implications for the Brazilian Lottery and Gaming Market
The addition of TSA strengthens Vibra Group’s position in Brazil, a country with a burgeoning lottery and gaming market. TSA’s existing contracts with key lotteries position Vibra to leverage this network and expand its offerings. The enhanced capabilities in Player Account Management and sportsbook solutions are expected to meet the diverse needs of operators in the region.
This development is set against the backdrop of LatAm’s growing prominence in the global gaming and betting industry. Brazil, in particular, represents a lucrative opportunity with its evolving regulatory environment and increasing demand for advanced gaming solutions.
