WSOP Circuit Returns to Turning Stone in March 2025 with Over $2.6 Million Guaranteed

The World Series of Poker Circuit (WSOPC) is heading back to New York. Turning Stone Resort Casino in Verona will host the prestigious festival, kicking off on March 13, 2025. With 18 gold rings up for grabs and a guaranteed prize pool of at least $2.63 million, this is set to be one of the biggest poker events in the state.

A Packed Schedule with High-Stakes Action

The festival opens with Event #1: $400 No-Limit Hold’em 30K Opener at 11:00 a.m. on March 13. From there, the action heats up with a variety of tournaments leading up to the highly anticipated $1,700 Main Event, which features three Day 1 flights from March 20-22.

The full schedule includes a mix of buy-ins and poker formats, catering to all levels of players:

  • Two $400 Seniors events for players 50 and older
  • A $300 Ladies Event for female competitors
  • Two Pot Limit Omaha tournaments, one standard and one hi-lo split
  • Multiple No-Limit Hold’em events, including 6-max, bounty, rebuy, and freezeout formats

The festival closes out on March 24 with Event #18: $400 No-Limit Hold’em Double Stack. Side events and satellite tournaments will also be running, giving players a chance to win seats at a discount.

The $1,700 Main Event: The One to Watch

The WSOPC Main Event is always the highlight of the series. At Turning Stone, this signature event draws a massive field, with top pros and local grinders battling for a six-figure payday.

Last year’s edition saw 1,188 players compete for a prize pool of $1,808,924. In the end, Ethan Bennett emerged victorious, defeating Kathrine Brandt heads-up for the title.

Expect another fierce competition this year, with experienced pros and ambitious amateurs looking to capture a WSOP Circuit ring and a potential entry into the WSOP Tournament of Champions.

Why This Stop Matters

Turning Stone is one of the premier poker destinations in the Northeast. Its poker room is highly rated, and past WSOPC stops here have drawn some of the largest fields outside of Las Vegas.

For many, this series is a chance to prove themselves on a major stage without traveling across the country. The relatively affordable buy-ins, combined with large guarantees, make it an attractive stop for players of all skill levels.
