Mohegan Continues to Diversify and Grow Its Operations Across the World

The changes to Mohegan’s corporate executive team come at a time when the company is pursuing various initiatives to diversify and grow its operations across the world. Some of these initiatives include:

  • The opening of the Mohegan INSPIRE Entertainment Resort in South Korea, which is the first integrated entertainment resort in the country. The resort features a luxury hotel, a casino, a Paramount Pictures-themed indoor-outdoor amusement park, a 15,000-seat arena, a K-pop entertainment school, and a cultural center.
  • The collaboration with Tesla to establish an Electric Vehicle Showroom at Mohegan Sun, which aims to promote zero-emission vehicle sales and expand charging infrastructure in Connecticut. The showroom is the first of its kind in the state and offers visitors the opportunity to learn about Tesla’s products and services, as well as test drive the vehicles.
  • The expansion into digital gaming, which includes the launch of Mohegan Digital, a new division that will focus on online sports betting and iGaming in the US and international markets. Mohegan Digital has partnered with FanDuel Group and Kambi Group to offer online sports betting and iGaming products in Connecticut, pending regulatory approval.

Mohegan’s efforts for diversification and growth have been reflected in its Q4 financial results, which showed a 58.8% increase in net revenue and a 72.3% increase in adjusted EBITDA compared to the same period last year.

Mohegan is one of the most dynamic and innovative entertainment and gaming brands in the world, with a portfolio of properties that span across the US, Canada, South Korea, and Greece. The company is owned by the Mohegan Tribe of Connecticut, which has a rich history and culture that dates back to the 17th century.
